The Historic Monaco
Grand Prix takes place every two years and 2010
will see the 7th running of this glorious
retrospective view of sports and Formula One
cars since 1947. The manicured street circuit of
Monte Carlo is the same as that used for the
Formula One Grand Prix two weeks later. There
are eight different races over the weekend and
as Monaco specialists, We are delighted to offer
this fantastic weekend of racing for car
enthusiasts both young and old. With views from
the track side at the Hotel de Paris, you cannot
get closer to the action as the Historic Grand
Prix cars pass through the world famous Casino
Square.
Sample itinerary:
Arrive in Nice on Friday and transfer
by car to your hotel, the luxurious Hotel de
Paris in the heart of Monaco. Situated in
Casino Square, the hotel is one of the
Leading Hotels of the World where elegance,
luxury and unparalleled service meet. The
price is based on 3 night's twin share
accommodation with breakfast.
On Friday evening, our guests will attend a
private black tie dinner at one of the
principalities top quality restaurants - an
evening to reminisce about the cars of
yesteryear whilst enjoying a fantastic
dinner with top local wines.
After dinner,
enjoy the central Monaco ambiance around
Casino Square with an opportunity to visit
the world famous Casino.
On Saturday, after a
leisurely breakfast at the hotel, meet at
the fantastic track side terrace at the
Hotel de Paris for a stunning day of racing.
Included is a fantastic buffet with wines
whilst you see at close quarters the classic
sports and racing cars as they negotiate
Casino Square. The evening is free to
explore other parts of the Principality and
experience the atmosphere that this special
event generates.
On Sunday, again after breakfast, the racing
will be viewed from the stunning Salle
Empire. Again a sumptuous buffet lunch is
served with wines as the races unfold. With
cars dating back to before 1947, the
highlight of the racing is the Formula One
cars from 1966 to 1974 and 1975 to 1978 as
they battle for supremacy.
On Sunday evening,
join us for a private drinks reception to
finish off the weekend on a high, to
celebrate the racing and and to raise a
glass to the next Historic Grand Prix in
2012.
