Our way of saying thanks to our partners, friends
and associates. Take a look at the pictures of our
Cowes Away Day!
On Thursday 6th and 7th of August 2009 we
decided to give all our partners, friends
and associates a treat. It was our way of
thanking everybody for all their support and
it seems all had a fantastic time on our XJC
Away Day.
Chief pilot Nigel Stewart kindly provided
two superb Sunseeker boats so that we could
enjoy the action at Cowes week. Here's the
itinerary and some of the photographs from
our day.
The day
The day started at 1030 to 1130 at the Royal
Southampton Yacht Club, Ocean Village for a
Champagne reception and a briefing on the
days events. The boats left the marina and
headed at high speed to the Solent Water
where everyone could observe the magnificent
sight of the Cowes Sailing Regatta.
Everyone had the opportunity to handle these
power boats during the course of the day.
1230 – 1430 both boats headed to “Gins Farm”
the Summer House of the Royal Southampton
Yacht Club where lunch was served
overlooking the famous Beaulieu River.
During the afternoon we headed off to
Osbourne Bay where the boats were anchored.
The RIB joined the 2 boats with the “water
toys” and “water skies” to have a go or just
relax on the sun deck or go for a swim off
the swim platform.
